Thoughts on the 2016 Ban.do Agenda
Most people that know me know at least one thing about me - I love office supplies. This could be for a number of reasons, but for as long as I can remember I've hoarded pens & writing utensils, notebooks, planners, and pretty much all other office supplies one would and would not need. When I was younger, school supply shopping was my favorite day of the year. I can also remember getting a planner for school, using it half the year, and insisting that I needed another. For what reason? You know, things. Well, not much has changed. I still hoard office supplies and purchase multiple planners a year. The only thing that has changed, is that now I am an adult and can shop for "school supplies" (since they will always be school supplies in my eyes) all year round and no one can say a thing (like, "do you really need that?") about it!
I've had my eye on Ban.do agendas, but didn't get around to ordering one until this year. I ordered the Large Florabunda 17-Month Agenda back in July and started using it August 1st when it began. Let's take a step back for a moment. When I first saw this planner I just about fell over dead. Dramatic? Yes. Accurate? Yes (ish). The colors on this thing are GORGEOUS! And for only $28, how could I not pick it up??
The number of people I know that obsess over the perfect planner elements are countless. So I knew I had to write up a little review for those of you that are thinking about picking this up in the future! Since it's a 17-month agenda, you could easily order it to begin using in January and it would still be well worth the money!
Planner bands are a must for me. I like to have something holding the book together so pages don't get bent or ripped if I throw it in my bag. A total personal preference here, but I'm not crazy about the band on this planner. It does the job, but I can't stand the scratchy material and how thin/flimsy it is. But of course, not a deal breaker type thing, just thoughts.
2016-2017 Yearly overview Reasons to party (yearly dates to remember) 2016-2017 Yearly holiday list Colorful quote/graphic pages Lined note pages beginning each month Monthly overview with notes section Weekly overview

I won't show a photo of the weekly spread in-use because quite honestly, I'm embarrassed of the wreckage that it is, but as you can tell, I am all about the monthly spreads! I use the monthly planner section as an editorial and event calendar. Then, use the weekly view for details on those things, to-do lists, etc. So what do I like/dislike about this planner?
Yes: I love the colorful design of this agenda. My life has been taken over by neutrals recently and I love the fun pops of color it brings to my days. I'm also all about the amount of room it has. If you want a weekly (not daily) planner with a lot of room for each day, this will definitely give you that!
No: Biggest pet peeve - monthly tabs that aren't laminated. EWW! I could get crafty and laminate them myself, but ain't nobody got time for that. And - There's actually too much white space on these pages. It leaves for a very messy and unorganized feel, no matter how much I work my planner decorating magic. It just feels all over the place.
Would I recommend it? Yes! If the things in the no section aren't a big deal to you, get on ordering this pretty thing!! What about you? Do you have this agenda? Tell me what you think in the comments below and let us know if you would recommend it!
