infuse | Summer Sage + Mint Berry Tea
One of my absolute favorite summer (and every other season) drinks is iced tea. Sweet tea, to be specific. Sometimes I think I have sweet tea in my veins with as much as I drink! I am always looking for delicious tea variations, coffee shops with their own iced tea creations, and of course recipes to make my own summer tea drinks! I've heard tons of great things about the recipes in Infuse by Eric Prum & Josh Williams, and knew I had to pick it up. I was sold on this book before even receiving it because of the cover (so perfect)! But, once I opened the package and and started flipping through it, I fell in love. The photos are gorgeous, the instructions on each recipe are simple and clear, and the recipes themselves make me drool just reading them.
My favorite thing about drink recipes is the ability to swap out ingredients and make them my own! I couldn't resist trying out the Summer Berry Hibiscus Tea and swapping out a few things to make a Summer Sage + Mint Berry Tea.
What You'll Need
24 oz water 3 tbsp of loose leave sage + mint tea (or 2 tea bags) 5 strawberries 1/2 cup of raspberries 1/2 cup of blueberries
Add all your ingredient to a 32 ounce mason jar or other glass container. Seal and shake or stir to combine. Refrigerate for 6-8 hours, then remove and if you used loose leaf tea, strain through cheesecloth before drinking.
That's it! It's super simple and oh so delicious! I didn't add any sweetener since the berries make the tea fairly sweet on their own, but if you are craving that super sweet tea flavor, add a tablespoon of raw organic sugar or a little bit of honey! I made ice cubes with raspberries and blueberries inside to add a little extra element to the tea (and because it looks so pretty).
This tea is perfect for a refreshing summer drink, for BBQs or parties, or my favorite - picnics!
I'm hooked on this book and know it will be one of my go-to resources for delicious summer drinks, infused spirits (for cocktails, duh!), and oils to cook with! Now I can't wait to get my hands on Shake! If you give this tea or any other recipes from Infuse a try, be sure to make them your own and use the hashtag #Noodoso so I can see!
I received this book from Blogging for Books for this review. As always, all opinions are my own. Thank you for supporting Noodoso, and the partnerships that make this space possible!
