Perlier Imperial Honey Body Butter Review
The scent of this is explained as "sensual notes of Honey and Oriental woods." While I can see how the description fits, I definitely think it smells more like chocolate. Unfortunately for me, that is a deal breaker. I am a chocolate addict, but for some reason I cannot handle chocolate scented products at all. I know tons of people that LOVE this scent, and if you're one of them this is for you.
The smooth texture of this body butter is thick and creamy, but still light and airy. I really enjoy the fact that it does not leave my skin feeling greasy or like there is a film on the surface. It soaks in nicely, and leaves my skin feeling smooth and hydrated. Overall, the actual product itself (minus smell) is very nice.
I have one more minute problem with this product, and that is packaging. I can admit that I am a person that lets packaging influence my purchases, who doesn't right? The body butter is in a plastic pot that feels very poorly made (as though not much detail or thought was put into it). In addition, the text on the lid and sides is not in English, nor is it translated anywhere on the packaging. If I was shopping and saw this product, I would not be drawn to purchase it.
Would I recommend this product? Yes. However, there are many others that I would recommend first. If the things I have mentioned do not bother you like they do me, then I encourage you to check this body butter out!
