Reading List | April 2014
With the school semester finally coming to an end, and summer quickly approaching, I am counting the ways I will relax during the break. This is the first year I haven't taken summer classes and I am so looking forward to having more time for myself. I plan on giving the blog a little more love, working on The Creatives Club, visiting local coffee shops, and catching up on some reading.
I'm not the type of person that can read a book on a tablet/kindle/laptop. I like physical books, the real deal. Since we don't have a Barnes & Noble close by, I order my books online, and to save money on shipping, I tend to buy quite a few at once. Today, I am going to share with you a few of the books I recently purchased, that are on my reading list.
For some reason, I usually end up reading five different books at once. I like to switch it up depending on the mood I am in. Right now, I have started The Desire Map, which I love (!!!), Manage Your Day-to-Day, which is one of the best books I have read in a LONG time, and Blog, Inc. All three are great so far, and are very different. I love keeping a variety of books handy because I have a short-attention span and become bored so easily. Switching it up helps keep me interested in a book.
There are also a few that I haven't purchased yet, but plan to:
Many of these books were recommendations, so I can't tell you too much about them... yet. If you are interested, I can definitely do a follow-up post letting you know what I think of them. Let me know if that is something you would like to see!
Have you read any of these? What did you think of them?
If you have any book recommendations, leave them in the comments below. As you can see, I am always looking for new books to pick up!
