The Reset Girl Listers Gotta List Now & Then Kit | May 2016
Can we just start this post with the fact that FOR ONCE I'm actually on time with sharing a kit! Oh yeah! Today I'm sharing a look into the Listers Gotta List Now & Then May kit from The Reset Girl (Cori Spieker). If you're unfamiliar - Listers Gotta List is a monthly listing challenge that combines list-making and creative documenting (similar to scrapbooking). Although, you can totally do the challenge simply as a list-making activity and nothing more, if that's more your style!
Cori has been selling these kits for quite some time now, but up until last month they were not TRG exclusive - basically, it was a box curated by Cori with matching products and stickers from her shop. They've been gorgeous from the beginning, but with the price point, I couldn't justify ordering them.
That was until this month. Well, last month. Her April kit caught my eye when it was the first LGL kit that was TRG exclusive - all the products in the kit (with the exception of the stamp, ink pad, and washi) - were created specifically for the kit. I was SO excited! The price point was still a little high for me, so I painfully passed (although I still might order it! Shhh!).
Fast forward a bit and she released her May "Now & Then" kit. Holy heart eyes y'all! Not only was the price point significantly lower, but it was a little bundle of pure perfection! So, I ordered it. Duh!
With my new job, I was finding it hard to keep up with LGL, and the fact that this kit comes with everything that you need (except the journal/book/whatever you want to use) was a total no-brainer when it came to ordering!
Here's what it came with:
23 - 3x4” TRG journal cards 3 - 3x8" cut-a-part prompt headers (with all LGL prompts) 6 - 3x8" TRG journal cards 4 - TRG quarter-page sticker sheets 1 - 53-piece TRG “Now & Then” Ephemera pack
1 roll of light teal washi 1 Prima Marketing Chalk Edger in Lime Pie 18 old fashioned carnival tickets 2 Carpe Diem word strips sticker sheets 1 mini collage glue stick
(Excuse the washi that snuck into that last photo).
This kit is so nice in person! The colors are the perfect vibrant tones without being too bright or neon-ish, the cards are all silky smooth (in a good way), and the TRG exclusive ephemera pack is SO CUTE (y'all know how much I love die cuts/ephemera). I only have one complaint, and it's the most minor of things. I really wish the prompt headers were stickers instead of cut-apart sheets. But that's not even a big deal, honestly. The great part is that each of the pieces in this kit (with the exception of the prompt headers) can be used for so many other things - planning, scrapbooking, creative documenting, project life, ect!
If you were thinking about ordering this kit but were unsure, or if this is the first you're hearing about it, I definitely recommend it! Have some thoughts you want to share? Let's chat in the comments below!
