Studio Calico Hello Forever Planner 2016
Y'all know I love a good planner review! I'm back today to share the Studio Calico Hello Forever Planner with you. The one shown in the photos below is Greystone. Two other colors (Clear Sky and Melon) are also available. I recently signed up for a Studio Calico planner subscription, and received this planner for free when doing so! This promotion is going on the entire month of February, so if you want to grab one of these planners or the kit, now is a perfect time to do it!
The goal of this planner is customization. It's obvious when looking at it that the inserts are super minimalistic, giving you plenty of freedom to make them your own. Personally, I feel like it was also created with more of a memory keeping theme in mind, rather than a daily planner. Which works totally fine if that's what you're looking for!
Material: Faux leather with elastic band Measurements: 8"W x 9.5"H
104 Weekly undated pages (Monday - Sunday) 24 Monthly undated pages (Sunday - Monday) Goal setting pages Monthly reflection pages Perforated to do lists Photo a day perforated lists
Elastic pen loop 1 Page finder 2 Dashboards 3 Interior pockets Monthly dividers with pockets 2 Page protectors (4x3 with 4 pockets and 4x6 with 2 pockets) Removable perpetual calendar 4 Sticker sheets Elastic band
Overall I love how versatile this planner is and how you can really get creative with it! There are just a few things I would personally change about it. I really wish you could purchase additional inserts from Studio Calico for the planner. Currently, what it comes with is what you get, and as someone that messes up a lot, that's a bit nerve wracking. The rings are also small. The planner itself (and elastic band) has plenty of room to expand, but the rings are small (and completely full with just the inserts), so you can't really add anything else to it. I also wish the paper was better quality - thicker. Since it has so much room for customization, I really want to go to town with stamps and stickers, watercolor, etc. But the paper is thin and even the ink from my stamps can be seen slightly through the page. I also wonder why the monthly and weekly inserts don't match. If one is Monday - Sunday, I would prefer they both are, instead of weekly starting with Monday and monthly starting with Sunday. You know?
Overall, I love how fun this planner is and how you can make it your own! If you're looking for a memory planner or something similar, check out the Studio Calico Hello Forever planner and see if it's right for you. Don't forget you can get it free if you sign up for a 6 or 12-month planner kit subscription for the entire month of February!
