During the summer, my skin is always a mess. And to be quite honest, I am the worst at keeping up with skincare. I recently started a new skincare routine that is light, perfect for the summer, and the easiest thing ever. Honestly, I will be shocked if I can't keep up with this because it's just actually that easy.
I've been using the new Burt's Bees Cleansing Oil, and since it is formulated specifically to use with other Burt's Bees products, I've paired it with the Sensitive Daily Moisturizing Cream and Targeted Spot Treatment! I love that I can pick all three of these up from Target when I go to purchase other items, like paper towels!
Step 1: First, I use Burt's Bees Cleansing Oil by massaging the oil over my dry face, using dry hands. Then, I wet my hands and continue to massage it into my face before rinsing thoroughly and patting dry.
This stuff is like magic. I was hesitant the first time I used it because I'm always afraid of my skin being oily, and well, using an oil cleanser seems like the way to make that happen. But really, this cleansing oil feels more like a dry oil when using it, so it cleans my face, but doesn't leave it all oily afterward (and leaves no residue!). Actually, my face feels less oily using this cleanser than so many other "oil free" products I've used! And to top it all off, this stuff takes off my makeup while cleansing (even my waterproof mascara)! I told you it was magic.
Step 2: After cleansing, I follow up with the Targeted Spot Treatment on the pesky spots I always have. - If I'm feeling really lazy, or my face is looking better than normal, I skip this step because I told you, I'm all about easy.
Step 3: The last step in my routine is using the Sensitive Daily Moisturizing Cream. I love this stuff because it doesn't have a scent, is super light, not oily or thick, and makes my skin nice and soft! I just use a tiny bit of this all over.
And that's it! I've only been doing this routine for the past 3 weeks, but I've already noticed a huge difference in my skin! I love knowing that the products I use won't irritate my skin, and that they are free of parabens and all the other bad stuff!
Have you tried any Burt's Bees products? Which one is your favorite?
