Thoughts on the Erin Condren Life Planner | 2013
The best way to start a new year is by being organized. Personally, my life revolves around lists, notes, journals, and a planner. For the last six months of 2013, I searched high and low for the perfect day planner. I found many that I fell in love with, and so badly wanted. However, in the end it was important for me to choose one that I knew I would continue to use the entire year and that was practical for my needs. I tend to be the type that abandons a planner mid year because I grow tired of it, and purchase a new one. This year, I decided to spend the extra money to avoid that. Let me tell you, it was worth it!I will start by giving myself kudos on my Lightroom skills that I put to the test in editing these photos. For someone that is as photographically challenged (is that even a thing?) as I am, it was not easy to figure out. So, if you couldn't tell, I am extremely proud of myself.
Now! On to what we are really here for: the planner. I chose the Erin Condren Life Planner for many reasons. First, I love that when purchasing this planner you can choose the start month. Meaning, if you ordered now, you could have it start in February!
There are close to 50 different cover designs to choose from and each one is personalized! Have no fear, they also have designs for men. (So awesome!) In the photos above, you can see a few of the different pages that are included. In the very front there is an overview of the year which makes quick date checking really easy. Next, there is a Birthdays and Anniversaries list, which is a feature that I love! It was so important to me, while searching for the perfect planner, to find one that I could use for work, school, and personal and this one does just that.
Each month has an overview first, then each week is separated, and each day has a morning, day, and night option. On the side of the weekly page there is a Goals & Notes section, and below each day there is another space for miscellaneous planning. The planner also came with a removable ruler/place holder to make it easy to turn right to the current week.
In the back there is a plastic zip pocket to hold small items as well as a two-sided folder for holding papers. The silver band shown in the first photo is an add-on item and does not come standard with the planner.
Overall, this is a great planner for all ages to use for all aspects of life. It is simple enough that anyone can use it, but detailed enough to keep you organized. I received my planner at the beginning of November, but decided to wait to write a post on it so I could give you my full opinion. Honestly, I LOVE it. I don't know how I made it this far without it, and definitely did not plan on loving it as much as I do.
