Travel Diaries: San Diego

The Travel Diaries are back! I thought it would be fun to post a little recap of my trip to San Diego with my dad, and share a few places with you that I really liked!Of course, it wouldn't be a trip to San Diego without visiting the lovely Hotel del Coronado. I have loved this place since I was a little girl. Visiting always brings back memories, and although I have yet to stay here, I am determined to do so very soon.

The next place we stopped was The BBQ House in Ocean Beach. LET. ME. TELL. YOU. This place has the best ribs. I don't even like ribs, and I liked their ribs. If that doesn't tell you what you need to know, then I don't know what will. Seriously.

We found the cutest little boutique that sold hand-crafted jewelry and paper goods, Noon Design Shop. I was obsessed and had to pick up a necklace while we were there (which you can slightly see in the picture below). Not to mention, I have already started shopping on their site for my next piece. So much love for this little place! (Follow Noon Design Shop on Twitter)

I have to recommend two more super delicious places to eat, but do not have photos to share with you. The first, La Puerta, is a Mexican Restaurant and Bar located in the Gaslamp District. The chips and guac are TO DIE FOR, and the tacos are just as delicious. (Just a heads up, it is a bar, so you have to be 21 years old or accompanied by an adult to eat there.) Let me just say, you won't be disappointed, YUM! After eating at La Puerta, head one block over and have dessert at Chocolat Cremerie. They have a huge selection of desserts and coffee, and the best chocolate covered strawberries.

Now, for a few scenery pictures...

What are your favorite places to visit in San Diego? I would love to check them out next time I am visiting!
